Korean Film Festival Lagos 2017

The Korean Cultural Centre, Nigeria is delighted to announce the return of the Korean Film Festival at the Genesis Deluxe Cinema in Lagos from 9 – 11 November 2017. The festival will feature screenings of award-winning Korean Films from Korea’s burgeoning film industry.
Come along to watch a variety of films, ranging from action to comedy and romance at Nigeria’s only Korean Film Festival. Highlights this year will include the Korean Instant Food Bazaar, Lucky Raffle Draw and more.
At the Korean Instant Food Bazaar guests will enjoy a showcase of convenient, tasty and Nutritious HMR (Home Meal Replacement) meals. These foods have the potential to be whipped up in minutes, giving you the best of both worlds!
Tickets to all screenings are free and subject to a first-come first-serve policy. Film fans are encouraged to reserve tickets by calling the Korean Cultural Centre at 0816 2626 224. Don’t miss out on your chance to explore the Korean culture and its filmic highlights.

A Hard Day (9TH November at 18:30)
Starring: – Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Jin-woong, Shin Jung-geun
Driving back from his mother’s funeral, homicide detective Ko Gun-su runs over a man in a dark rural street. In a moment of desperation, he dumps the body in a coffin alongside his mother. A few days later, Gun-su flips through a listing of open cases and finds his accident victim. His colleague is on the accident case and is slowly making progress. Making matters worse, a witness steps forward – a detective named Park Chang-min.

All About My Wife (10TH November at 18:30)
Starring – Im Soo-jung, Lee Sun-kyun, Ryoo Seung-ryong
Jung-In and Doo-Hyun meet in Nagoya, Japan during an earthquake. Love quickly blossoms between the couple. Seven years later, Jung-In and Doo-Hyun are a married couple. Now, he hates his wife's constant nagging and negative nature. However, he is too meek to ask for a divorce. He then comes up with a plan. He pleads with his neighbor Sung-Ki to seduce his wife in order to get his wife to ask for a divorce!

Starring – Park Shin-tang, Kim Jung-tae, Eom Ji-won
Gwang-Ho is the trusted right hand man for a powerful crime boss. One night, his rival in the group attempts to take him out with a knife. As he lunges forward with the knife, Gwang-Ho turns around and grabs the approaching knife blade by his hand. Because of this, his fate line on his palm is changed. Soon, Gwang-Ho begins a double life as a crime boss and a fortune teller.
